Creating a Prayer Icon

A shrine is a means of making the unseen visible and evoking a presence that is otherwise only vaguely sensed. They can be playful or serious; they may be expressions of our church attachment, or house spirits of the earth, our family, or one's own memories. We will spend an evening creating a dwelling place where spirit can take up residence.
